Multi-use trail
The General Dacey Trail is a multi-use recreational trail accessed by walkers, runners, and bikers.
Recreational use of motorized vehicles is not permitted (excepting electric wheelchairs).
Trail surfaces vary between crushed limestone and oil and chip. The trail is very walkable, but cyclists should take note of caution signs placed before steep grades.
Parking
The General Dacey trail has two lots where you can park and leave your car while using the trail.
Ninth Street Recreational Area
The trail entrance is on the west end of the boat launch parking lot.
Forest Park
The trail parking lot is on the north side of the park behind the scout cabin. This lot is next to a pavilion where multiple loops of the trail meet. A bicycle rack is also provided in this location.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in the trail. Please keep them on a leash. Please clean up after them.
Hunting
Hunting is not permitted from the trail or in the immediate woods near the trail.
